Beehive Stands – Large

These were the first stands. They were from some crates. Brazoria county weather with the humidity, rain, and sun, destroyed these in a about 3 seasons. One of those beeboxes can easily weigh 40lbs. There are 3 and the honey boxes are not even on which can weigh 30lbs apiece easily placing 3 during the season. Couple hundred pounds before you know it.

Crates were the 2nd attempt at stands. Tied together with kevlar rope. Again they fell apart fairly quick.

I drove past a place that had these totes piled high for years. I was always looking for a better (inexpensive stand). One day I looked over and Doh, there it was.
